"To provide the opportunity to make an impact at the local, national, and even international level... and have fun doing it!"
The Richmond chapter is the oldest chapter in the Capital Region and the second oldest chapter in the State. It has been serving the Richmond metro area since May of 1936.
The Community Development area of opportunity focuses on our members’ impact in our local community and encourages our members to find ways and develop projects that make life on our community (the Richmond metro area) and the world better.
The Richmond Jaycees are looking for passionate, caring, and motivated young professionals to join our team and work towards creating a better Richmond. Our goal is to create personal and professional growth opportunities for our members through planning and organizing community service projects that positively impact the Richmond community. We want to become the doorway to community service for young professionals by offering you the tools and development opportunities to grow and pursue your service passions. Contact us today to begin making a difference in the Richmond Community.
The Professional Development area of opportunity is primarily focused on the administrative and fundraising aspects of our chapter. No matter your career interests, the Richmond Jaycees chapter has something for everyone. Our activities involve the full breadth of business elements such as management, marketing, branding, strategy, planning and communications.
